I didn't know I wanted to become a teacher until after I graduated from high school. After working at a school in Africa, I decided to return to Victoria and begin my schooling there. I completed my degree at the University of Victoria and did my practicums with BC Agriculture in the Classroom and in the district where I attended elementary school! After graduation my husband and I moved to the little town of Vanderhoof, where I taught Grade 1 & 2 for two years. We moved to Kelowna in 2014 when my husband became a firefighter. I started teaching Kindergarten at KCS in September 2014 and taught until March 2015 when our oldest son (Isaac) was born. Since then, we have had another little boy (Theo) and I have been working as a TTOC in District 23 and at KCS. I am excited to be back at KCS teaching a new grade with the best teaching partner!
Having our students love Jesus and one another is our prayer. We want our students to discover and learn about what they are passionate about and to help continue and develop their journey of life long learning!
